Zen launches M25 dual sim mobile with 72 days standbyZen Mobiles, an Indian mobile manufacturer has shocked everyone with the launch of its new Dual-sim handset “Zen M25″ which has an extremely long standby time of up to 72 days. Zen M25 has managed to accomplish This with a 2500 mAh battery which is offering up to 16 hours of talk time and 72 days (1,728 hours) of battery back up on standby  mode.
According to Deepesh Gupta, managing director, Zen Mobile, “Zen M25 is targeted at rural areas where electricity and power connections are not easily available. To market this product, Zen will focus on regional dailies and below the line advertising such as road shows”.
M25 is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) with a large 2.4-inch QVGA display screen, 1.3 megapixel, Bluetooth, FM radio with loud speaker. It has a multi format video player, and expandable memory of up to 4GB with a microSD card. The new Zen M25 mobile phone is priced at approximately Rs.3,400 and is now available in India in most mobile stores.[ad code=2]
The company currently occupies between 2 per cent and 2.5 per cent of the Indian handset market and eyes a seven to eight per cent market share by the end of this financial year. The manufacturer sells about 2.25 to 2.5 lakh handsets per month and aims to launch two to three handsets every month.
