Vodafone to offer new apple iPhone 4 in india
Just after a day when Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs unveiled Apple iPhone 4G in US, Vodafone Essar, India’s Leading Telecom operator has announced its plans to bring the IPhone 4 to India in the next few months. Initially iPhone 4 will be available in the US, France, Germany, Japan and the UK on 24 June 2010 and will expand in 88 countries by the end of September.
Apple iPhone claims to be the thinnest smartphone ever with new features such as 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording, Apple’s A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40 per cent longer talk time. The smartphone delivers seven hours of talk time on 3G networks, up to 10 hours of Web browsing on Wi-Fi and up to six hours on 3G, and up to 10 hours of video playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback.
Vodafone Essar did not specify the launch date or pricing of iPhone 4 in India. The company only said that it “will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world, in India in the coming months.”[ad code=2 align=left]
Previously Apple iPhone 3G were brought to India by both Vodafone and Bharti Airtel and made a huge success in Indian Market. This time Vodafone took the first initiative but Such a News is expected from Airtel also

Liars!!! vodafone has not made any such official announcements… they just launched 3gs….
i have an iphone 3g from vodafone n it doenot support gprs and mms after long fights n arguments i have got gprs but still no mms but on airtel both work….
