Virgin Mobile expands GSM service in six new circlesVirgin Mobile India has launched GSM services in six more telecom circles in the country, along with introducing a unique concept of getting paid for incoming calls. Virgin Mobile GSM A youth targeted telephony service is now started in UP (East), UP (West)-Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh, Haryana, West Bengal and Bihar.

Virgin Mobile GSM StartUp Kit (SUK) is available at Rs 49 with lifetime validity and zero talk time. Keeping Competition in mind, Virgin mobile has introduced several new concepts to give a tough fight to the other market players with charging 20 paise/minute for STD and local calls for the Virgin mobile numbers without any pack or daily rental. Calls to other network ( local + STD ) would be charged 50 paise/minute.

Launching the GSM services in six telecom circle here, Virgin Mobile Chief Executive Officer(CEO) M A Madhusudan said that the new GSM service is all set to help youth leverage and use the power of their network of friends.

As Internet on the move is the demand of youths. Virgin mobile also has Attractive GPRS packs like 1 Day Pack with 5 MB Data at Rs.5, 3 Days Pack with 20 MB Data at Rs.14
and 30 Days Pack- 200 MB Data transfer at Rs.98
