Furthermore, our current focus is on strengthening our service in circles we are present in and launching additional circles this year. We would like to concentrate our focus and our resources in an area that is by far the mainstay in India – good quality voice service. For the current and immediately foreseeable data requirements in the Indian market, we believe a good quality 2.75g/EDGE service is sufficient. Again, there is enough ground to be covered to deliver good quality data in India, even within the currently available technologies.

We also believe that there will be other opportunities and routes to get into 3G at a stage when the market is really ready for it and the demand makes for a sound business case
