tollfree customer care calls are no more free 50paisa/3minutes
Due to immense loss in revenue erupted with throat cut competition as newer entrants started the price war with luring tariffs so now Telecom operators are seeking for some alternate ways of revenue to overcome the loss. In this process Airtel, Aircel, idea, vodafone and some other operators start charging for calls made to customer call which was however free by now. In some countries its already been charged but in india its completely new. All private GSM operators( COAI & AUSPI ) got the consent from TRAI to charge such calling. Yet its not started uniformly. In M.P., kolkata and West Bengal has started this whereas Idea in Maharastra and Mumbai. Though calling rates are mere 50 paisa per 3 minutes but considering the rate of calls made to customer care its posses a great revenue model for telecom operators. So if you are still enjoying the free calls to C.Care or troubling to C.Care guy is your favorite pastime then get ready to be charged and to feel boredom in coming days.
In airtel you can still call 198 and register your complain for free But calling 121 and talking to Airtel customer care executive will be charges at 50 paisa per 3minutes.
O_o nyc information……! It’z obvious that operators hv to compensate….but now i cn no more trouble c.c.

Airtel ya aur customer care call toll free hai yeh sewa 10 may 2010thak hai is samay koi charg nahi hai ye airtel vodafone idea par hai

this is not d reason 4 time passing, this shows that mobile operator r in loss, also cc people dont hav tht much info, they hold us line for many minutes, they r paid 4 dere wrk, so whoever call dem , they hav 2 do der wrk, all non sence 50p/3mins. if sumone is in gr8 need of calling customer care so tht person hav to recharge first, if suppose wrong dedution takes plce n bal goes in negative , now to call customer care they hav to recharge first, all des r bullchits
