Samsung Mobile has launched the new 4 inch super AMOLED display smartphone called GALAXY M STYLE in Korea. This phone operates on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with 1 Ghz processor, Bluetooth 3.0, 3 MP camera, DMB, 1650 mAh Long Life Battery and also comes with 4GB internal memory as well as HD (720p) video recording capabilities. The phone is too slim to 9.9mm and has metal body furnishing.
It comes in three variant eye-catching colors of Platinum Silver, Blue Black, and Lavender Pink. It costs arount $500. Should be priced within Rs15000 in indian market. (more…)
Samsung Bada OS v2.0 Revealed
0Recently in Seoul, South Korea, at Samsung Developer day, Samsung has revealed some of the new features of the upcoming Samsung’s next version operating system Bada v2.0. Bada OS was first launched with Samsung’s Wave model with v1.0.
The Bada v2.0 will get more friendly user interface and home screen will be improved with new animation effects, personalization options and layout management. It has multitasking features like multi application execution and background launch and the security features in Bada v2.0 will be improved with DRM and Secure I/O.
The OS will be open-sourced just like Google’s Android OS and have SDK support for Linux and Mac, and user will be able to customize their handset. (more…)
Samsung Claims Top Spot in USA Android Smartphone Market

Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), has announced that according to finding of Gartner, a third party research firm, it has achieved top spot as the number one Android smartphone provider in the US in Q3 2010. According to Gartner, Samsung Mobile captured 32.1 percent of the U.S. Android smartphone market in third Quarter of 2010 based on retail sales, an increase from 9.2 percent of the Android smartphone market in Q4 2009.
Samsung Mobile gives the credit of this success to its Galaxy S smartphones, which recently passed the 3 million shipment milestone in the U.S. The Samsung Galaxy S portfolio is packed with premium features and services, including a brilliant 4-inch Super AMOLED display screen, 1GHz Hummingbird Application Processor, (more…)
Samsung Champ C3300 Cheapest Touchscreen Phone in India

Samsung has launched “Champ C3300” its cheapest touchscreen handset in Indian market. The Champ is not only cheap it’s also one of Samsung’s smallest touch screen lcd display handset, measuring 96 x 53.8 x 13 mm and featuring a 2.4 inch QVGA display with Memory support of upto 8GB. Champ C3300 is now available in Indian Market at Rs. 4,100 ( ~ 88$ )
The C3300 Champ Boasts a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, basic 1.3 MP camera, Various connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE ( No 3G) Bluetooth and USB. For Music it carries a 3.5 mm headset jack with resistive touch screen and FM radio. Like all Samsung feature phones, Champ also comes with a load of social networking tools & applications. Phone has a 1000 mAH battery which should deliver decent Talktime and Standby backup.
