Reliance Communication Launches SMS based Mobile Conferencing Service

Reliance Communication announced the launch of SMS based service for both GSM and CDMA subscribers, and named this service as Group Talk. This is a SMS based voice conference calls, which is a handset independent service. Group talk allows user to enable a conference call amongst a group of nine contacts.
To create a group, user have to type “C <GRP NAME> <Phone Number1 ><Phone Number2>” with phone numbers (both mobile and landline) starting with prefix 91 (for mobile) & STD Code (for landline) and send this as a SMS to 51234323. 5 such groups can be created and a max. Reliance Communications new tariff plans on wireless landline

Reliance Communications has announced a new tariff plan for their wireless land line subscribers throughout the country. As per the new offer, there will be “one single flat rate for all local and STD calls anytime anywhere in India, without any conditions or restrictions.” The pay per call tariff is at Rs 1 for a 3 minute pulse and the pay per minute is at 50 paise/min as available in Reliance GSM . Existing ‘Hello’ subscribers can now choose between pay per call at one time recharge of Rs 38 and pay per minute at one time recharge of Rs 48.
