Samsung India announced the new dual SIM (GSM+GSM), touch screen mobile phone in Indian market, Samsung B5722 at a retail price tag of Rs. 11,680. The phone has many features, powerful 3.2 mega pixel camera and social networking support.

Its a 2G mobile which works on: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 for SIM 1 and GSM 900 / 1800 for SIM 2, has 2.8 inches TFT capacitive touch screen with 256K colors, Samsung uses TouchWiz Lite v1.0 user interface, which uses experienced in Samsung Corby series before. With 30 MB internal memory, Stereo FM radio with RDS, FM recording, phone has microSD card slot which allows expanding memory up to 8GB. Phone features with 3.2 mega pixel camera with LED flash and built-in Image Editor function. Samsung uses Digital Natural Sound Engine ( DNSe) sound technology in B5722 phone.

Samsung B5722 has 3-page extended menu for easy and convenient access with a tap of the finger as well as while switching SIM card use. Samsung Communities allow users to upload photos, links and update status messages on social networking services which includes, Picasa, Friendster, Facebook, Myspace,Photobucket and Flicker.Also GTalk, AIM, ICQ, and Palringo multi IM, Has an advanced mobile tracker (which is help to secure the mobile). Company claimed that this advanced mobile tracker feature is introduced in dual SIM touch phone segment for the first time.

Samsung B5722 comes with Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery, which last for 400 hours standby and 4.30 minutes talk-time and it comes with elegant pink and dark brown colors, the former is ideal for men and the later color is ideal for women respectively.  Samsung B5722 also has some drawbacks like slow in responding, lacking in universal connector and lacking of Wi-Fi and 3G.
