Huawei Launches Android based Ideos in India via Aircel

Chinese handset maker, Huawei has today launched its Android based handset, Huawei Ideos in India via Aircel; Aircel is offering 2GB of free data plan if buyer decides to go with postpaid connection.
Ideos comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 3.2 Megapixel camera, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS and comes with a 528MHz processor.
Other feature includes MicroSD slot for expandable memory upto 32GB, HSDPA connectivity. The most important feature of Ideos is, it also function as a Wi-Fi router for upto eight devices at a time, which is the something we are looking for.
Although, there are Micromax Andro A60 is already in market and Intex is also going to launch its Android powered handset next month at a unbeatably price for Rs 5,500. We are looking forward to see some more upcoming handsets in recent future. (more…)
Intex Mobile to Launch Android Phone for Rs 5,500

Do you remember about Micromax Andro A60? When it was launched in India, at that time it was the cheapest Android phone in India. But now after that Intex, a well known brand for its Computer hardware and accessories manufacturer, which has entered into the mobile market in India, few months back, has just announced that they are going to launch its first and cheapest Android phone in India, in February next year, that will compete with the Micromax Andro A60 handset.
This Android based Smartphone comes with some decent features like Android 2.2(Froyo) based OS, 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen display, 3.2 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and GPS and it is expected to cost around Rs 5,500.
“We will launch an Android 2.2 phone in the first week of February and it will priced at around Rs 5, 500,” said Sudhir Kumar, Assistant General Manager of the Telecom Division at Intex to Telecom Yatra. (more…)

IN-5030 features with 2 inch TFT screen with 65K colors with measures 111×48×14.8mm, 1.3 MP camera which can also use as a webcam, Mobile tracker, Currency checker, Bluetooth, phonebook with 1000 entries, torch light, auto call record, supports English and Hindi languages and it could works as a modem to enjoy GPRS internet on your computer/laptop. Also it has FM Radio with recording and scheduling feature, Audio / video player with recording and equalizer. In-5030 comes with two batteries, each providing a talk time and stand-by time of up to four and 120 hours respectively. The external memory of the handset is expandable up to 4GB .
IN 5030 is available at an Retail price of Rs. 4700 which is really an affordable price with this much features.
