10 paisa calls tariff in IDEA mumbai Maharashtra and Goa
0IDEA Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator has introduced a new tariff plan that will provide more value to its subscribers. Consumers will now be charged merely 10 paisa per minute on a tariff plan of Rs. 18 per month. Idea subscribers across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa can experience an 83% reduction in rates over the existing rate. A large group of people who talk for smaller durations but make frequent calls will benefit most through the new tariff plan.
With increasing consumer base, Idea has become more affordable and by introducing yet another tariff plan it is getting closer to the youth community, small entrepreneurs and self employed mass. (more…)

IDEA Cellular, a leading GSM mobile services operator in India with over 62 million subscribers has introduced unlimited internet plan for mobile subscribers in Mumbai. Now mobile subscribers can surf the internet, chat, connect with friends and relatives on social networking sites, email etc. for just Rs. 98 with 30 days validity. IDEA cellular has Over 1.5 million subscriber base in Mumbai.
Mr. Sashi Shankar, Chief Operating Officer – Mumbai, IDEA Cellular said, “Large number of mobile users are now accessing data services on their phones. IDEA has taken the lead to address this growing demand by introducing consumer friendly and flexible tariff plans which will give a new dimension to mobile experience for users in Mumbai. IDEA’s new unlimited GPRS plan will help the large youth community and small entrepreneurs – who are heavy users of mobile internet, or wish to access GPRS services on their handsets – to choose plans as per their usage”.

IDEA also introduced daily internet surfing plan for Rs. 8 per day.In this plan, user can surf internet for up to 70 MB download. After 70 MB of download users have to pay Rs. 5 per MB. The daily plan would remain active, until deactivated by the user.

IDEA Cellular India’s 4th largest GSM Mobile service provider has introduced a new tariff offers for its 1.2 million customers in Mumbai. As per the new tariff plan, Idea’s prepaid subscribers in the city will be charged 1 paisa for 5 seconds a call to any other Idea number in the city & anywhere else in Maharashtra/Goa. The company launched its services in Mumbai in 2008. The call rate of 1 paisa for 5 seconds is applicable on the recharge voucher of Rs 17, for per second billing customers. per minute billing plan users can get 15 paisa per minute call tariff for Idea to Idea calling with the recharge voucher priced at Rs 18.
Idea Cellular has a subscriber base of over 8.9 million in Maharashtra and Goa, and 1.2 million in Mumbai city. The new tariff is applicable for calls made from Idea network in Mumbai to the Idea network in Maharashtra and Goa, and not vice versa.
