After the successful launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab worldwide, now Samsung has announced different special data packages for the Galaxy Tab buyers in India. The data packages that Galaxy Tab buyers will get in India will totally depend upon their telecom operators, which they will opt for.
Airtel, Aircel, Tata Docomo, Reliance Mobile and Vodafone are offering their services for Galaxy Tab users in India. On purchase of Galaxy Tab with a better telecom operator, one can enjoy up to 6 months of free data usage ( limited ).

Idea Cellular in an alliance with Nokia has launched free data offers on few handsets. With this free Data offers if you buy any of this nokia handsets E63, E71, E72, N79, N97, N86, 5233, x6, 5230, 5130, 5530, 5800, X6-16GB, 5235 and N97 Mini then you will get 150 free gprs usage. This free gprs scheme is applicable to both the postpaid and prepaid customers.
Under this offering both prepaid and postpaid customers will get 50 MB/month free GPRS data usage for 3 months / 3 bill cycles. Any Additional browsing beyonf free access will be charged at default per KB GPRS browsing plan.
To awail this offer both NEW and OLD old Idea subscribers have to send a SMS Data IMEI to 55555 short code and Nokia will send the list of subscribers after mapping of the IMEI & MSISDN for activation of the GPRS benefits. Ex: Data 359301010101011 to 55555. This offer is valid upto 31st July 2010.
