0
If you are a fan of BlackBerry Messenger service and misses it while using another smartphones then a good news for you, Research in Motion (RIM) may release its BlackBerry Messenger service for Apple iPhones , iPads, and Android smartphone. According to sources, this software could be offered free to users, with either a one-time or yearly fee to access the Messenger Service via a 3rd-party platform.
Although the Android version of the Blackberry Messenger is now almost confirm , there is still some doubt about the availability of an iPhone service due to the closed iOS platform. Probability is also there, that apple may refuse to allow the app to be listed in their App Store.

It is expected that the 3rd-party applications will offer a cut-down version of the Messenger platform, which will doubtless be seen as a way to hook customers into switching their smartphone to BlackBerry models to get the full messaging service.
