white iphone4 availability date Delayed again

Apple has announced that white color iPhone 4 would not be available until later in the year due to manufacturing difficulty in White iphone glass panels. During the pre-order process for the iPhone 4, the company promised that the white phones would be available by the end of July. Apple, however, has delayed the release once again, saying the model is still harder to manufacture than originally expected.
According to Apple “White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected,”
The Delay stems from a little-known Chinese factory by the name of Lens Technology, which is apparently responsible for transforming fine raw glass into the majority of iPhone glass panels out there,”. Airtel officially declares to launch apple Iphone4 in India Oct

Airtel, India’s largest telecom service provider has finally revealed its plans to launch iPhone 4, Apple’s Latest Record breaking smartphone. Sanjay Kapoor, CEO, Bharti Airtel, CEO At a industry conference of CII has announced about the company’s plans to launch iPhone 4 in the country by October this year. He also mentioned that the company is closely working with Apple on the same. Before Airtel announcement Another major Operator Vodafone Essar has already declared its plans of rolling out iPhone 4 in India.
Bharti Airtel already sells iPhone 3GS in India at a Price of Rs 35,500 for the 16GB model and Rs 41,500 for the 32GB model. With the launch of third generation mobile services in the country by the end of this year, the sale of such high end devices are likely to get a boost. (more…)
