Nokia dual SIM mobile phones C1 and C2 launched in India
Nokia has finally introduced the much awaited Nokia C1 (C1-00) and Nokia C2 (C2-00) dual-sim capable cheap mobiles in Indian market. Both of this models are the Nokia’s first ever Dual SIM handsets. Nokia succumbed to launch dual sim mobiles in order to retain its market share in the country as it was facing tough competition from some local brands such as Micromax, Spice, Karbonn and Zen because they are providing feature-rich dual sim phones with ultra-low prices.
“Entry-level consumers need dual SIMs for various reasons, including economising time and costs, improving efficiency and for increased convenience. To address these consumer requirements, Nokia has launched these two cheap mobile phone that offer multiple SIM capabilities with a balanced feature set and relevant innovations at affordable price points,” said Nokia Executive Vice-President (Mobile Phones) Mary McDowell.[ad code=2]
Nokia C1 (C1-00) is based on Series 30 platform and supports Dual band 900/1800 MHz network frequency. It can save Up to 500 entries phone-book and has some other remarkable features such as 65K colors screen, Calendar, Clock, Integrated hands-free speakers, FM radio, Games, Power Save mode and a dedicated Shortcut key for SIM switch as only one SIM can work at a time.. Nokia C1 (C1-00) priced in India, Rs. 1,999 .
Nokia C2 (C2-00) is dual SIM phone based on Series 40 platform, which truly supports Dual Standby . It boasts Ovi Life Tools and Ovi Mail facility, Bluetooth , micro USB connector, 3.5 mm jack, Email , GPRS, Nokia Messaging, up to 500 entries phone-book, integrated speakers, VGA camera, Nokia music player with mp3, .wma, .aac, eAAC and eAAC+ file format support, Nokia Music Store support, power Save mode, stereo FM radio.
It comes with sufficient internal memory and supports expandable external memory of up to 32 GB. Nokia C1 operates on Dual band 900/1800 MHz network frequency. The company did not reveal the price of the C2-00 but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 2,500.

k@Asis Interesting Question, But i believe there are lot of users who loves to have 1000 of mp3 songs in their mobile mobile, unmindful of the fact they won’t be able to listen them all

Will be the phone in both CDMA & GSM compatible because I need a phone like that and also the market need a phone which supports both the platform and if yes then it will rock the market.

this two mobiles are hot and cool in the low cust buying segment . Now the branded Nokia have come down to build such a dual sim mobile.After nokia recently motorala launched its dual sim touch and qwerty type of mobiles in the market.
@ Pravel : Everyone will like to have a phone CDMA & GSM phones . But for my satisfaction is with GSM. Lets hope there will be a release of its version .
