Industry experts voted uninor as India's Most Promising New OperatorUninor India a joint venture company of India’s real estate major Unitech Ltd. and the Norway based Telenor Group has been recognized as the Most Promising New Operator in the Telecom Operator Award 2010 organised by “tele.net” , a leading Indian telecom sector publication. The selection was based on a survey conducted by the publication with over 160 industry experts and professionals where Uninor emerged as winner by a strong margin.

The recognition comes within months of Uninor’s service launch in 8 telecom circles in India. The company has already made a strong start to its operations, securing an average of 1 million subscribers per month. By the end of February, Uninor had secured over 3.5 million subscribers across its operational regions.
