Huawei 20 new handsets and affordable android phones in IndiaHuawei Technologies, World No. 2 company in the mobile equipment industry has made its entry into the Indian mobile handset market  two Android phones along with the launch of 20 other handsets.  Yet Huawei was selling it handsets bundled with services offered by telecom operators. The phones will be available in India from August and priced at Rs 2,000 onwards.

“The Indian telecom industry is growing at the rate of 20 million subscribers a month. Our entry into the open market will help us tap more growth opportunities in India,” said Victor Xu, chief marketing officer, Huawei Device.

Telecom network solutions company has launched four new handsets oh Huawei on Thrusday, including two android devices, U8300 and U8500, in the Indian market.[ad code=1 align=center]

Huawei U8500 is a all touchscreen Android smartphone phone. It comes with a 3.2 inch WVGA display, 3.2 mp camera, Wi-Fi and HSPDA connectivity.

Huawei U8300 is a portrait QWERTY Android phone targeted for youth. It comes popular social networking tools such as Facebook and Twitter. The U8300 is available in three bright colors: green, yellow and purple. It also comes with 3.2 mp and Wi-Fi.

The Hangout series includes a full range of stylish and feature-rich devices on GSM, CDMA and UMTS technologies and targets mid and higher segment of consumers. Aimed at young professionals, U9130 and C5600 models would cost between Rs.3,000 and Rs.5,000.
