Virgin Mobile India has launched GSM services in six more telecom circles in the country, along with introducing a unique concept of getting paid for incoming calls. Virgin Mobile GSM A youth targeted telephony service is now started in UP (East), UP (West)-Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh, Haryana, West Bengal and Bihar.
Virgin Mobile GSM StartUp Kit (SUK) is available at Rs 49 with lifetime validity and zero talk time. After the successful launch of GSM network in the Southern Circle, Virgin Mobile has introduced its GSM services in Orissa (Odisha). Orissa has become the 6th circle in Virgin mobile’s GSM operations in India. The launch was made possible because of the agreement entered with Tata Teleservices. Virgin Mobile Prepaid Starter Kit costs Rs 49 comes with lifetime validity and zero talk time.
A tariff of 20p/min for STD and local calls to any Virgin Mobile number without any pack is what Virgin is proffering its subscribers in Orissa (Odisha). Calls made to other networks will be charged at 40p/min for local and 50p/min for STD calls again without any packs. Virgin mobile services will cater to more than 65% of the total youth present in the state.
