 Reliance Mobile Launches Free Mobile TV offer   Reliance Mobile is the second private operator to introduce 3G services, has come up with a new exciting offer for all its 3G subscribers. Reliance Mobile user can now enjoy watching Mobile TV on their handset for free till 31st January 2011. Reliance Mobile is offering this service for its subscriber as a trial offer, to test the next generation 3G mobile TV service free of cost. Presently, 3G services are available in four circles i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chandigarh. To experience Mobile TV for free, user need to send a text message MTV to 55447. RCom announces 3G Prepaid and Postpaid Tariff Plans Reliance communication, which has recently launched its 3G services in India, has yesterday announced its 3G tariff plans. Rcom is offering wide range of services as compared to Tata Docomo.  Rcom is offering Mobile TV services with daily, weekly and monthly tariff plans. To use Mobile TV services customers can select single channel at a daily price of Rs 10, except devotional pack all other packs are available on daily, weekly and monthly pack, there is no extra data charges like Tata Docomo.

Reliance 3G services tariff plan start from Rs20 for 25MB to Rs 2100 for 21GB, there is no unlimited plans in Reliance 3G. Rcom is also offering two USB data card for Rs 2599 that supports download speed up to 7.2 Mbps and other card supports 21Mbps for Rs 4499.

Postpaid users will be charged 10p per 10kb of data transfer up to 50MB and 1p per 10kb for above 50MB. (more…)

Reliance 3G Network goes live in metros and ChandigarhReliance Communications (RCom) has finally announced the much awaited launch of Reliance 3G services, starting with Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, along with the city of Chandigarh. The 3G network offers a theoretical peak download speed of up to 28Mbps.

Reliance 3G services will offer features such as video-calling, mobile TV, video streaming and applications access at super-fast speeds on a wide variety of both mobile phone and personal computing devices with the plans starting from 199 Rupees a month to 2,499 Rupees a month according to data usage limit. Reliance Communication Launches SMS based Mobile Conferencing Service in IndiaReliance Communication announced the launch of SMS based service for both GSM and CDMA subscribers, and named this service as Group Talk. This is a SMS based voice conference calls, which is a handset independent service. Group talk allows user to enable a conference call amongst a group of nine contacts.

To create a group, user have to type “C <GRP NAME> <Phone Number1 ><Phone Number2>” with phone numbers (both mobile and landline) starting with prefix 91 (for mobile) & STD Code (for landline) and send this as a SMS to 51234323. 5 such groups can be created and a max. Of 9 numbers can be added to an each group. (more…)
