World’s First Dual Core Device-LG Optimus 2X Is Expected to Hit in Europe in January 2011

World’s first dual core Android powered LG Optimus 2X is going to launch very soon in Europe after South Korea. However, officially announcement has not yet been made when LG Optimus 2X would hit in South Korea.
This dual core Tegra-2 processor will also come with some exclusive Ennio Morricone content on board from famous Italian composer. Ennio Morricone is sharing 15-exclusive Ringtone from the movie soundtrack, which he wrote.
Not only LG Optimus 2X, but LG’s U300 Optimus Mach is also getting Ennio Morricone ringtones. Among the total 25 soundtrack, which was composed by Ennio Morricone, there will be 10 of the composer’s creation soundtrack from the movie Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, Love Affair.
LG Optimus 2X user will get access to more such applications free, they can download Ennio Morricone images and video clips from LG application store. (more…)
LG Electronics to Unveil LG B, Slim and Super Bright Handset at CES 2011

South Korean handset maker, LG Electronics is going to unveil the slim and super bright handset called LG B at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2011, which is going to be held in San Francisco. After a great success of LG Optimus One, LG Electronics is working hard to improve its market share. The LG developer teams are working hard to make this dream come true.
This phone will be running on Android Operating System and according to various rumors; LG Electronics is going to launch this device in early 2011. LG Revealed World’s First Dual Core Smartphone-LG Optimus 2X

Finally, LG has officially launched its LG star a.k.a LG Optimus 2X handset. This handset has become the world’s first dual-core Smartphone, which is powered by a Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor. It comes with Android 2.2(Froyo) and LG has announced that it will provide upgrade to Gingerbread (2.3) OS very soon.
LG optimus features a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD slot for expansion. There is a rear camera of 8MegaPixel with flash and a front camera of 1.3MegaPixel.
This handset is able to play High definition video at 1080p resolution and is able to record video in MPEG-4 and H.264 format; there is also a HDMI port, which turns this phone into a media player. (more…)
LG Optimus One Chic to arrive in Korea

LG mobile is all set to launch Optimus chic handset in South Korea market from next week onwards. Optimus chic is a mid-range candy bar Smartphone; it runs on Android 2.2(Froyo) and comes with features like 3.2-inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen display, A-GPS, proximity sensor, light sensor, multi touch, and five Mega Pixel auto focus camera without flash. It has a 600 MHZ of processor, and comes with an internal memory of 150MB and expandable up to 32GB with MicroSDHC.
It supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS 900/ 2100 frequencies and has download speed up to 7.2 Mbit/s and upload speed up to 2 Mbit/s.

First Dual Core Tegra2 Processor Device-LG Star Coming Soon

LG Star is the first Smartphone to run on dual core Tegra2 processor. The device has not yet announced officially by LG. However, as according to various rumor suggest it will have features like Sporty 4-inch display, Android Froyo OS, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI port. It has a 1500mAh battery that powers the LG Star and has a microSD card to expand the memory. The 4-inch display will be large enough to play a HD video, however it is expected that it will have a TFT display rather than a Super AMOLED display.
Android’s Froyo will power it and by the time, it is made available it will be running on Android Gingerbread OS. It will have a 8 Megapixel camera on the back and a front VGA camera; also, it will have a HDMI port on the top of the device.
