Huawei IDEOS launched in India, Cheapest Android 2.2 smartphone

Bringing a slew of powerful leading edge technologies with a high price to performance ratio, Huawei Devices has unleashed Android 2.2 based smartphone, ” IDEOS “ in India at a price of Rs 8,499 .
‘ID’ in IDEOS stands for inspiring industrial strength, ‘OS’ for the operating system, and ‘E’ for the evolution to mobile internet. The smartphone offers multiple ways to access the Internet and comes pre-loaded with a range of social networking, email and useful services like Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube and GMail, the company said in a statement.
IDEOS features Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3G HSDPU connectivity and support for USB modem functionality. Users can also access the Android Market, across multiple categories like gaming, communication, entertainment, office and financial management applications. Huawei Launches Android based Ideos in India via Aircel

Chinese handset maker, Huawei has today launched its Android based handset, Huawei Ideos in India via Aircel; Aircel is offering 2GB of free data plan if buyer decides to go with postpaid connection.
Ideos comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 3.2 Megapixel camera, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS and comes with a 528MHz processor.
Other feature includes MicroSD slot for expandable memory upto 32GB, HSDPA connectivity. The most important feature of Ideos is, it also function as a Wi-Fi router for upto eight devices at a time, which is the something we are looking for.
Although, there are Micromax Andro A60 is already in market and Intex is also going to launch its Android powered handset next month at a unbeatably price for Rs 5,500. We are looking forward to see some more upcoming handsets in recent future. (more…)
Huawei Announced Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 Smartphones in India

Huawei, the biggest mobile manufacturer in china has announced its two new Smartphone, Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 for Indian market. Both phones runs on Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo OS and are powered by Qualcomm 1 GHz MSM8255 Snapdragon processor.
Ideos X5 has features like 3.8-inch touch screen display, 5Mega Pixel autofocus camera, 3G,High Definition(HD) video recording and comes with a support for expandable memory slot.
Ideos X6 has design similar to Motorola Droid model nd has features like 4.1-inch WVGA screen display, HD video recording capability, HDMI port, 2GB ROM, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS,A-GPS and has MicroSD slot.
Huawei 20 new handsets and affordable android phones India

Huawei Technologies, World No. 2 company in the mobile equipment industry has made its entry into the Indian mobile handset market two Android phones along with the launch of 20 other handsets. Yet Huawei was selling it handsets bundled with services offered by telecom operators. The phones will be available in India from August and priced at Rs 2,000 onwards.
“The Indian telecom industry is growing at the rate of 20 million subscribers a month. Our entry into the open market will help us tap more growth opportunities in India,” said Victor Xu, chief marketing officer, Huawei Device.
Telecom network solutions company has launched four new handsets oh Huawei on Thrusday, including two android devices, U8300 and U8500, in the Indian market. (more…)
