Airtel and Aircel, Leading Telecom service providers have launched the Apple iPhone 4 with a bundled package of two-year. The two operators have launched both the 16 GB and 32 GB versions of the phone (16 GB for Rs 34,500 and 32 GB for Rs 40,900), and are offering tariff plans and Other freebies like SMS, data downloads , which will allow a sizeable waiver on the monthly tariff plans.
Shashi Arora, CEO, Airtel- Mobility (Upper North), said: “The market is witnessing an increasing demand for devices that deliver the ultimate user experience — through a good user interface, rich feature capabilities and innovative applications,” he added. (more…)

Aircel today announced it will launch iPhone 4 in India on May 27 with a new pricing model, allowing customers to recover the upfront cost of their iPhone on select plans over the course of 24 months, making iPhone in India more affordable than ever.
Aircel will provide customers with a range of flexible service plans for both post-paid and pre-paid mobile customers. Following an upfront payment of Rs. 34,500 for the 16GB model and Rs. 40,900 for the 32GB model, customers will have the opportunity to recover 100 percent of their upfront iPhone cost in monthly credits on their service plan over a period of 24 months.
iPhone 4 is the most innovative phone in the world, featuring Apple’s stunning Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone resulting in super crisp text, images and video, and FaceTime, which makes video calling a reality. If you are a fan of BlackBerry Messenger service and misses it while using another smartphones then a good news for you, Research in Motion (RIM) may release its BlackBerry Messenger service for Apple iPhones , iPads, and Android smartphone. According to sources, this software could be offered free to users, with either a one-time or yearly fee to access the Messenger Service via a 3rd-party platform.
Although the Android version of the Blackberry Messenger is now almost confirm , there is still some doubt about the availability of an iPhone service due to the closed iOS platform. Probability is also there, that apple may refuse to allow the app to be listed in their App Store.

Apple Inc is working on development of a less expensive version of iPhone which might be half the size of popular iPhone 4. According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple is working on the first of a new line of less-expensive iPhones, while simultaneously undertaking an overhaul of applications for the devices, to accelerate sales of its smart phones amid growing competition.
The new phone with code name of N97 – is tipped to be significantly lighter and about half the size of the current iPhone 4 and would be available to carriers at about half the price of the normal iPhones . Currently Apple sells iPhones to carriers for $625 each on average. With carrier subsidies, consumers can buy iPhones for as little as $199 with a two-year contract. (more…)
