Samsung Mobile has launched the new 4 inch super AMOLED display smartphone called GALAXY M STYLE in Korea. This phone operates on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with 1 Ghz processor, Bluetooth 3.0, 3 MP camera, DMB,  1650 mAh Long Life Battery and also comes with 4GB internal memory as well as HD (720p) video recording capabilities. The phone is too slim to 9.9mm and has metal body furnishing.
It comes in three variant eye-catching colors of Platinum Silver, Blue Black, and Lavender Pink. It costs arount $500. Should be priced within Rs15000 in indian market. (more…)

Blackberry offers huge discount on Playbook until Dec 31


Blackberry (RIM) has hugely dropped the price of its ‘PlayBook’ by more than half to Rs 13,490 for the 16 GB version in India.RIM introduced PlayBook in June in India.
The 16 GB PlayBook version is available for Rs 13,490 which is actually tagged for Rs 27,990 under a limited festival  offer upto December 31. Prices for 32 GB and 64 GB versions are also reduced.The 32 GB version is available at Rs 15,990, while the 64 GB model is priced at Rs 24,490 under the limited period offer.The devices are actually price tagged for Rs 32,990 (32GB) and Rs 37,990 (64GB).
Playbook was launched in India, along with other markets like UK, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Australia and UAE.The 7″ tablet, PlayBook, runs on a new operating system built by QNX Software Systems.Playbook offers to be online only using a Wi-Fi network or by synchronising the device to their BlackBerry smartphones. Nokia officialy accepts Lumia 800 battery bug, promises fix in next update.

Nokia’s Windows Phone might be an Incredible Piece of polycarbonate, but it has failed  to meet its match with its own battery performance. The Nokia Lumia 800 has mixed reviews regarding battery life. Some stating good, some stating bad. Regardless, the fact some people are reporting that  battery life is bad, and there’s a sufficient number to make this an issue… still awaiting a maintenance release next month to take care of the charging portion of the problem, but it seems that yet another bug will need to be addressed at the same time. After word spread last week that something was causing the battery’s capacity to show up as worse than it really is, Nokia did some digging and promptly admitted that something was awry. In the statement (found past the break), the company assured the masses that the battery itself was perfectly fine, but there was a bug in the software and a fix will be included in the next planned update. And then everything will be absolutely perfect… Note this doesn’t affect the 710. They note an easy software fix coming 2012, but even cooler is that if you can’t wait, Nokia will just replace your phone (go do it if you have any scratches on the display. (more…)
