Idea launches 3G services in Jammu and Kashmir

IDEA Cellular has continued the expansion of its ‘Gold Standard’ 3G services by launching in J&K circle. Idea Cellular, the Aditya Birla Group Company, will make its 3G services available in Srinagar and Udhampur, to start with, and will progressively grow to cover other major locations in the region.
With this launch, Idea’s national 3G footprint now covers over 1,600 towns across 20 circles. Idea has traditionally focused on growth from semi-urban heartlands of India and will continue to drive its 3G services from these industrial, agricultural and educational regions.
Local citizens, business communities, and domestic and international travelers to tourist destinations in this Himalayan region can now avail Idea’s 3G services to connect with the world of faster Internet, Video Conferencing, Mobile TV, and IdeaMall Application Store, which offers an entire catalogue of games and applications on Web and Mobile platforms. Idea offers More than Full Talktime in Kolkata and WB

Idea Cellular, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator has announced the launch of special recharge voucher in Kolkata & West Bengal. The new voucher will enable Idea prepaid subscribers to make Local, STD and ISD calls at affordable rates to their friends and relatives during the upcoming festival season, and also get more value for money.
The new special recharge voucher offers more than Full Talktime, as Idea is now offering Rs. 42 worth of Talktime on a recharge of Rs. 35. Idea users in Kolkata and West Bengal who wish to avail the special offer can recharge with the new voucher which will also enable them to make Local and STD calls at just 40 paise/min. Idea 3G services now in Trivandrum and Nedumangad

IDEA Cellular has launched its ‘Gold Standard’ 3G services to 2 more towns “Trivandrum and Nedumangad” in addition to Kochi, Calicut, Trichur, Palghat, Kannur, Malapuram, Alleppey, Pathanamthitta & Kollam in Kerala. Idea has received an overwhelming response since 3G services were introduced in the state two months ago. The company has already added over 2 lakh 3G subscribers in Kerala.
Idea’s 3G services will offer the best mobile experience in downloading songs, streaming videos on YouTube, streaming audio, photo updates on Facebook, mail and other online media, movie downloads, watching mobile TV, e-mailing with attachments, blog postings, viewing photos, and Flash & HD Gaming. Idea has introduced a special STD & Local calling offer to facilitate its subscribers to stay in touch with their friends and family across the country. In Idea’s, ‘One Country, One Call Rate’ offer, Idea subscribers can now enjoy benefits of making STD & Local mobile calls at a flat rate of 40 paisa per min for 30 days, with a recharge of Rs. 33 only. The new tariff vouchers are available at all Idea retail outlets in Gujarat.
